Enjoy your time downtown by taking part in the Wildabout Walkabout scavenger hunt! Spend your day finding the 15 animals that have taken up permanent residence in downtown! The scavenger hunt features bronze sculptures that were created by students from the ETSU Department of Art and Design.
The animals were inspired from the “Wildabout” mural that is located in King Commons. All the sculptures represent animals that are indigenous to the region – and some will be unexpected! Families are encouraged to learn more about these animals after their adventure.
The scavenger hunt can be started on either end of the historic district, it goes from the library, through Kings Commons and on the 200 and 300 blocks of Main Street and in the Downtown Square sidewalks. You can start at any location along the path.
